The Bahraini Identity Committee held its third meeting, chaired by Eng. Muhammad Ibrahim Al -Sisi Al -Buainain, Secretary -General of the House of Representatives, today, Monday, to discuss the implementation of a number of initiatives, projects and activities aimed at implementing the high directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and which is related to the visions that His Majesty prefers within the letter of opening the third session of the sixth semester.
During the meeting, the Secretary -General affirmed that the General Secretariat of the House of Representatives – under the direction of Ahmed bin Salman Al -Muslim, Speaker of the House of Representatives – is keen to harness the capabilities in order to supply the existing national efforts in the framework of the establishment of national identity through qualitative programs that contribute to deepening the spirit of loyalty and national affiliation, stressing that the memory of the country is abundant with bids and parliamentary theses that have turned into large national projects, expressing the identity of the country and its ancient civilization.
He listened to a sufficient explanation by the members of the committee on the programs and initiatives that are being implemented, and the steps that were achieved in order to translate this on the ground, indicating that increasing societal awareness about the role played by the Council and the mechanisms of parliamentary work and spreading culture and parliamentary awareness among the various categories of Bahraini society at the top of the priorities of the General Secretariat of the House of Representatives.
It was agreed that during its next meeting the committee reviews the initial vision of some projects, programs and theses in preparation for their approval and implementation.
It is worth noting that the formation of the Bahraini identity rooting committee came under the guidance of His Excellency the Speaker of the House of Representatives, where the committee specializes in establishing the national identity of the House of Representatives by raising awareness of the national values, principles and principles, and the promotion of community partnership based on the principles of the National Action and Constitution Charter, and to guide the contents of the royal discourse of His Majesty the great king, may God protect and preserve him.
The committee also aims to show the identity of generations, educate young people, care for young people on the principles and values that characterized the people of the homeland in a generation, as well as providing creative initiatives, in line with the jurisdiction of the council and its general secretariat, and highlighting the ancient civilizational evidence of the country in the facilities of the council, its programs and activities, and includes the activities and publications of the Council of cultural and awareness, which enters into the context of highlighting the authentic identity For Bahraini society.
