Sawsan strengthens the membership of the International Federation of Feather

In a new Bahraini achievement that reflects the position of national cadres in general and women in particular, Dr. Sawsan won the President of the Bahrain Federation of Featory Featist and Squash with the membership of the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Air Featist (BWF) for the second time in a row for a new state to be the only Gulf and Arab member among all members at the 86th General Assembly meeting held on Saturday April 26, 2025 in China.

On this occasion, Dr. Sawsan strengthened her great thanks and appreciation to the member national federations for her nomination after she received 235 votes, 30 votes from the candidate who won the highest votes 265 to win a second term at the highest international sports body for flying feather.

She emphasized that this Bahraini achievement is the fruit of the unlimited support that the national cadres enjoy from the wise leadership, may God protect and take care of it, and the support of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports, Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, apporating its permanent support from the General Authority for Sports and the Bahraini Olympic Committee.

This victory was considered a gain for the Bahraini and Arab plane feather, wishing to be the best ambassador of the Asian continent and the Arab countries by upgrading and developing the game during the next four years.

The Thai, “Connege Batama Leswadakatol”, won the assignment of the International Federation of Featory Federation, to be the second woman to take over the presidency of the International Federation and the Danish “Paul Eric Hyier”, whose mandate ended as the 12 -year president of the International Federation.

The French “Richard Peru” won the position of Vice President of the International Federation, and 20 new members were voted in the BWF council, who are:
