In a scene that reflects the depth of the crisis between the Israeli security services and the political level, serious developments have emerged in the file of the relationship between the Shin Bet, Ronin Bar, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Recent documents and testimonies revealed that the Shin Bet chief attached to the Central Court in Tel Aviv a secret statement supported by sensitive evidence, which included serious details of Netanyahu’s behaviors, including his alleged request to help the Shin Bet to evade his trial.

The secret benefit provided by Ronin Bar came as a complement to his public advice, and carried out between it classified information related to the investigations of the “Qatar-Git” case, and the suspicions of foreign interventions in Israeli policy, as well as controversial facts about the “Bild” group and suspicion of its involvement in internal security issues, along with direct accusations of Netanyahu of trying to activate the Shin Bet against citizens Israelis for personal political purposes.

The meeting in which the Mossad chief, the head of the National Security Council and a number of senior Israeli army officers and the minister in Salafel Smotrich participated, were remarkably, not in the presence of the Shin Bet President, against the background of Smotrich’s personal province of Ronin Barr and his refusal to participate in any session attended by the head of the security apparatus.
