Representative Badr Al -Tamimi explained that the project is applied practically, which makes the goal of the draft law achieved on the ground, which was confirmed by the government and the Ministry of Health. He thanked the members of the Shura Council for their efforts, but he suggested that these efforts be directed to proposals to serve citizens and improve their livelihood, stressing that this is the most appropriate way to enhance the immunity of society in facing health challenges such as microbes and others.

For its part, the Minister of Health, Jalila Al -Sayyid, indicated that the government was keen to put all the tools that would reduce the resistance to microbes, and recalled the most prominent decisions on this issue, related to the resistance of antimicrobials, explaining that Decision No. 1 of 2025 was issued, the national plan was updated and ensured that there are indicators of measurement.

While the Chairman of the Services Committee, Jalila Al -Sayyid, said that: “In light of the existing legal tool, we see that there is no need for the proposed draft law, and we have no objection to the committee to veto the committee’s decision and vote with the deputies to reject the proposal.”
