Representative Ahmed Sabah Al -Salloum, Vice President of the Asian Parliamentary Society, Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee, participated in the meeting of the Office Authority of the Asian Parliament, which was held on the sidelines of the 150th General Assembly of the International Parliamentary Union, held in the capital, Tashkent, in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the time plan for the Asian Parliamentary Society was discussed during the coming period, and the proposal to nominate the Secretary General of the International Parliamentary Union from the countries of the Asian continent was discussed, with coordination between countries to push one candidate representing the Asian continent.
Also, ways to enhance Asian parliamentary work were reviewed and attitudes coordinated in international forums, and current issues.
