President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi met today, Wednesday, at the Djiboutian Presidential Palace, President Ismail Omar Jeel, where the official reception ceremony was held for President Sisi.
The spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the meeting included a bilateral talks session, followed by an expanded session in the presence of the delegations of the two countries, and then participating in a lunch held by the President Al -Gibouti in honor of Mr. President.
Ambassador Mohamed El -Shennawi, the official spokesman, added that the two presidents witnessed the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding, then held a press conference during which they reviewed the most important discussions.
Al -Sisi said during his speech: I expressed my great happiness, by meeting my brother, his generation, on my second visit to Djibouti, this dear country that occupies a great special place in the conscience of every Egyptian, and I confirm my gratitude and appreciation to the sisterly state of Djibouti, because of the aspects of friendliness and sincere welcome during this visit, which makes me feel that I am in my country, among my family and siblings.
He added: Today I came loaded with the Egyptian people with a message of pride in historical ties and the relationship of the strategic partnership that brings together Egypt and Djibouti, and I cannot fail to congratulate Djibouti, leadership and people on the diplomatic success due to the victory of Mahmoud Ali Youssef, with the position of head of the African Union Commission, wishing him all the best in his great mission .. I have held extensive talks with my brother, his generation, during which we dealt with the fields of cooperation The duo in various priority sectors for our two brotherly towns.
