Today, Sunday, President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi will go to the Qatari capital, Doha, at the beginning of a Gulf tour that includes the states of Qatar and Kuwait.
Ambassador Mohamed El -Shennawy, spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that during the visit, President Abdel -Fattah El -Sisi is scheduled to meet with his brother Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields and discuss regional developments, especially related to the Palestinian issue and efforts to cease fire in the Gaza Strip .. The President will also hold a meeting with representatives of the Qatari business community to discuss opportunities for economic cooperation.
The spokesman added that the President will then go to Kuwait, the second station in his Gulf tour, as this visit comes as an affirmation of the depth of strategic relations between the two brotherly countries, and their joint keenness to expand the horizons of economic and investment cooperation.
It is scheduled that the President in Kuwait will meet his brother Sheikh Mishaal Al -Ahmad Al -Jaber Al -Sabah, the Emir of the State of Kuwait, in addition to Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al -Hamad Al -Sabah, the Crown Prince, and Sheikh Fahd Youssef Saud Al -Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Acting Prime Minister.
