Today, President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron arrived in the city of Al -Arish.
In another context, the leaders of Egypt, France and Jordan, yesterday evening, made a joint phone call with US President Donald Trump, on the sidelines of the tripartite summit held in Cairo on April 7, 2025.
The three leaders discussed with President Trump ways to ensure the ceasefire urgently in the Gaza Strip, stressing the need to resume full access to the provision of humanitarian aid and the release of all hostages and detainees immediately.
They also stressed the importance of creating the appropriate conditions to achieve a real political horizon and mobilize international efforts to end the suffering of the Palestinian people, restore security and peace for all, and implement a two -state solution, noting that the three leaders and President Trump agreed to stay closely.
