Imagine, for example, that these computers can plan with amazing accuracy to better exploit housing projects or water desalination techniques in Bahrain, faster even than “delivering the Beriani order” on the night of Eid.
But hey, as in any great development, there is another hot face that we may not like, its heat is no less than “Karak Tea” at sunset on the coast of Muharraq. These supernatural computers have a terrifying ability to decipher many of the encryption systems that we depend on today to protect our privacy and data, from your bank account to your chats in WhatsApp and even your “snaps” that you land and you are reassuring that someone will see them. Imagine with me that there is a party (government, company, or even an unknown hacker) now that all our encrypted statements are now gathered and wait for patience such as the patience of the Bahraini fisherman at the fascism in the glory of the summer, waiting for the moment when you can break these codes with great ease, then our data becomes “preceded” exposed to everyone!
What is new in the matter is that recently international companies such as “Google” and “IBM” have been able to achieve amazing achievements in quantum computing.
