The National Emergency and Public Safety Center Center announced today, Wednesday, the closure of Hurghada Maritime Port due to bad weather.
During its statement, the National Network for Emergency and Public Safety indicated that maritime activities will be resumed and the port of Hurghada is opened after the improvement of the gum.
Weather warning and wind activity on the northern coast
The Meteorological Authority has warned of wind activity on the northeastern coasts, and it may be exciting for sand and dust in some areas in southern Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, which leads to a decrease in the level of horizontal visibility, especially in the south of Upper Egypt and the Red Sea mountain ranges.
Meteorology advised the patients with respiratory and allergies to take the necessary precautions, and avoid leaving the house as much as possible.
In an official statement, she indicated that the country was exposed to a cloudy atmosphere and a cloud cover on most parts with opportunities for rain in the north of the country to the north of Upper Egypt.
Wind activity is expected to be on the Mediterranean flat, which works to disturb maritime navigation, and the Meteorological Authority confirmed that wind activity will continue from Wednesday until next Friday.
The meteorology appealed to citizens to wear masks in areas where the winds of sand and dust are active.
