The Directorate of Veterinary Medicine in Kafr El -Sheikh Governorate announced that within the framework of the directives of Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel -Moati, Governor of Kafr El -Sheikh, the Veterinary Medicine Directorate in Kafr El -Sheikh has intensified its control campaigns in conjunction with the Eid Al -Fitr holiday in coordination with the relevant authorities to control the markets.
The Veterinary Medicine Directorate added that these campaigns came under the supervision of Dr. Fathi Abdel -Al, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Veterinary Medicine in Kafr El -Sheikh, in coordination with ration control and city councils, to ensure the safety of the supply of meat and fish in the markets.
The veterinarian Kafr El -Sheikh confirmed that the campaign resulted in the seizure of 265 kg salted fish without data, 50 kg minced meat without data, 32.5 kg salted fish that is not suitable for human consumption, 10 kg of municipal meat slaughtered outside government massacres, with a total of 357.5 kg of violating seizures, 9 minutes of violators were edited, and cases were referred to the Public Prosecution to take measures The necessary legal.
In a related context, government massacres in Kafr El -Sheikh Governorate witnessed the slaughter of 117 heads of cattle and 1,000 birds according to the health and veterinary requirements, to ensure the provision of safe and healthy meat for citizens.
The Veterinary Medicine Directorate affirmed the continued intensification of control campaigns to combat any violations that may threaten public health and food safety, within the framework of an integrated plan to preserve livestock and the health of citizens in the governorate.
