The Media Center of the Red Sea Ports Authority announced this morning, Thursday, the reopening of Nuweiba Maritime Port in South Sinai Governorate after the improvement of weather conditions and wind stability, and marine activities and navigational movement were resumed.
Major General Mohamed Abdel Rahim, Chairman of the Authority, stressed the ports directors with follow -up with the General Meteorological Authority for the Climate and Starting Map in order to preserve the regularity and safety of maritime navigation and public and private property.
Continuous closure of the port of Hurghada maritime
The media center of the Red Sea Ports Authority announced the continued closure of the Hurghada Maritime Port in the Red Sea Governorate for the second day; Because of the bad weather, the wind intensity ranges between 24-30 northwest knots, the height of the waves is between 3-4 meters, and the state of the sea is very turbulent.
Marine navigation and all marine activities were stopped on small and large marine units in order to preserve the safety of maritime navigation.
