Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, explained that both Saudi Arabia and Qatar intend to pump new investments in Egypt during the coming period, within the framework of enhancing economic cooperation with the Gulf states.

This came during a press conference held by the Prime Minister after the weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers, where he indicated the importance of the recent external round of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi to both Qatar and Kuwait, stressing that the visit was successful and focused heavily on deepening bilateral relations, especially on the economic side.
Madbouly explained that the State of Qatar has announced a plan to pump investments worth $ 7.7 billion in Egypt, and it is currently underway to activate these projects in coordination with the Qatari side.
In the same context, he pointed out that Egypt received a high -level Saudi delegation that included more than 300 businessmen and prominent personalities, on a visit confirming the Kingdom’s interest in pumping more investments in the Egyptian market.
The Prime Minister stressed the need for the Egyptian government to continue to implement economic reforms and accelerate its pace in a way that creates an attractive climate for investment and enhances the confidence of international partners in the Egyptian economy.
