The head of the Israeli Internal Security Service, Ronin Bar, announced on Monday that he will leave his post on June 15, after weeks of tension with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who had previously requested his dismissal.
“After 35 years of service, with the aim of allowing an organized process to appoint a permanent behind and professional transmission, I will finish my missions on June 15, 2025,” Bar said in a statement.
