Dr. Sahar Al -Sanbati, President of the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, explained that the Monitoring and Social Communication Unit of the General Administration of the Child’s Najds monitored the video circulating yesterday as soon as it was published through the social networking site Facebook, and the video publisher was contacted, and it was found that the video was recorded with the surveillance cameras attached to one of the population real estate in the Al -Montazah district, the first in Alexandria Governorate.
Al -Sanbati immediately directed to take the necessary measures to ensure the protection and safety of the child, and to inform the Child Protection Office, persons with disabilities and the elderly at the Public Prosecutor’s Office to investigate the incident, stressing that the council is following the incident to ensure that the child gets her right, and that the perpetrator get his penalty in accordance with the law.
For his part, Sabri Othman, Director of the General Administration of the Children’s Najd, stressed that this incident includes abuse of the child’s dignity and rights and the crime of exposing a child to danger in accordance with the provision of Article 96 of the Child Law No. 12 of 1996 and amended by Law No. 126 of 2008, pointing out that by virtue of Article 99 bis of the Child Law “that in cases of dangerous danger, the General Administration of the Child’s Displaced Line of the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, or a committee, or committee Protection, whichever is closer to taking the necessary necessary measures to get the child out of the place where he is at risk and transferred to a safe place, including the use of power men when necessary.
He stressed that the council will not tolerate the right of children and that the general administration of the child’s help monitor all the facts that would pose a threat and violation of the rights of the child, and take the necessary measures against them, calling on citizens to communicate with the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood through the mechanisms of reporting represented in the child’s help line.
