Dr. Sahar Al -Sanbati, President of the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, assigned two lawyers from the Legal Support Unit to attend the first trial sessions of the accused of sexually assaulting a 6 -year -old child in one of the schools affiliated with the Damanhour Educational Administration in Beheira Governorate, which will start tomorrow.

This comes to ensure that the child obtains all legal rights due to what he was subjected to, and his judicial representation in that incident and the consequences of the effects, in implementation of the provisions of the Child Law and Law No. 182 of 2023 to reorganize the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood.
Al -Sanbati confirmed that the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood is following the incident through the Child Protection Unit in the governorate, where a report was edited on the child’s rescue line 16,000, and the Child Protection Unit was assigned to take the necessary action and prepare a report on the incident and the appropriate recommendation and hand it over to the Public Prosecution.
The National Council for Childhood and Motherhood stressed its full confidence in the integrity of the Egyptian judiciary in confronting the new negative phenomena facing the Egyptian society, as a result of moral chaos, which is not consistent with the noble values called for by divine religions, nor with the principles and values of Egyptian society.
It is worth noting that in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 182 of 2023 issued to reorganize the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood as the national mechanism concerned with the child and the mother, the council is concerned with receiving and studying complaints regarding violation of the rights and freedoms of the child and the mother, referring them to the competent authorities, and working to solve them with the relevant authorities, and providing the necessary judicial assistance to victims of violations, and coordination with the concerned authorities to provide reliefs Breaking children.
