Nasser bin Hamad: Students’ technical contributions are a role model in consolidating the culture of charitable work

His Highness praises the efforts of the Royal Foundation and Soverene in promoting the spirit of social solidarity

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Acts and Youth Affairs, emphasized that the generous and tireless care that charitable and humanitarian work enjoys inside and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country’s great country, embodies the vision of his majesty in caring for orphans and widows and providing ways for a decent life and having to them, indicating that His Highness is that the Royal Humanitarian Foundation is continuing His Majesty’s aspirations to consolidate the culture of giving and enhance the sustainability of humanitarian action in Bahraini and Arab society, praising His Highness the attention attached to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister in supporting humanitarian and social projects and placing them among the priorities of the esteemed government’s work.

This came when His Highness attended the closing ceremony of the fifth edition of the “Sofrren Charitable Foundation”, organized by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation in cooperation with the Sofrn Technical Charity Foundation at the Four Seasons Hotel, during which the winning artistic paintings in which the students participating in the award were sold.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa pointed out that such programs contribute to strengthening societal partnership, spreading a culture of charitable and voluntary work among school students, encouraging them to contribute to societal and helping others, by supporting the message of purposeful art and its role in humanitarian work, stressing His Highness the Foundation’s keenness to instill the values ​​of goodness and enhance the spirit of social solidarity, and encourage society to support the various projects of the institution, praising the technical contributions of students During it, about their feelings towards their homeland, and their keenness to be a initiator to spread the culture of volunteering, and contribute to good projects, as the Foundation is keen to support and develop youth talents in all fields.

His Highness appreciated the fruitful cooperation by the Sofran Charitable Foundation, and the Ministry of Education represented by all government and private schools and universities, on the participation of its active students in this award, which is an extension of the success achieved by the award in its previous copies, and contributed to supporting the educational and health projects implemented by the institution.

This honored His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the platinum sponsor of the award, namely: Arab Gulf University, and Bahrain University College, in addition to honoring the golden and silver sponsors, and the contributors to buying paintings during the final award ceremony.

For his part, His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary -General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, praised the unlimited support provided by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, for the institution’s programs, and with his continuous support for the Sofrren Charity Foundation Award.

He explained that His Highness donated an artistic painting that he accomplished in his first years of study at Ibn Khaldoun School, and it was a gift from him for the first charitable art exhibition organized by the Foundation in partnership with the Sofran Foundation, in confirmation of His Highness’s interest in the role of art in forming the awareness of generations and drawing a bright future for the homeland.

He expressed his happiness with the contributions of the participating students, saying: “There were moments in which the spirit of art mixed with the passion of discovery, and the artist’s inspiration to the sense of national affiliation with our beloved kingdom Bahrain, to confirm that Bahrain is a country that is well -known and creative. With health and wellness, he is rewarded for the best reward for his country and his country.

He thanked and appreciated all those who contributed to the success of the artistic exhibition and charitable exhibition, from the participants, organizers, supporters and Sofran Company, who believed in the message of this humanitarian work and sought sincerity to show it in this honorable image.

During the ceremony, Mr. Howard Beltone, Chairman of the Sofran International Group, delivered a speech in which he expressed his happiness in partnership with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation in organizing the fifth edition of the award, praising the role of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in encouraging students’ technical talents and his sponsorship of this award.

During the ceremony, the student, Mahmoud Magdi, reviewed her personal experience in the face of type 1 diabetes, and how the composition of the insulin pump, with the support of the Royal Foundation for Humanitarian Work, has enabled her to continue her life naturally.

After that, the public auction was opened on the winning paintings in the five categories, in addition to the audience voting board, and the proceeds of the exhibition and the fifth charitable artistic auction reached approximately 686.210 thousand Bahraini dinars (six hundred and eighty -six thousand two hundred and ten BD), it will be allocated to support the educational and health projects implemented by the institution for its students.

The Sofrn Technical Charity Foundation also honored the winning students in the fifth edition of the award, and they are: the student Raghad Al -Khatib from the Choueifat International School (First Category), the student Hor Moayad Abdul Jalil from the Gifted Student Welfare Center (the second category), the student, Aina Shahid from Al -Nour International School (third category), and the student Sofia Nour from the British School (Fourth Category), and the student Yasser Saeed from the University of Bahrain (category Fifth), and the student, Sheikha Ahmed Al Khalifa, from Sheikha Hessa School for Girls (the audience vote category).
