Abdulaziz Al -Ashraf, Assistant Undersecretary for Supervision and Resources in the Ministry of Industry and Trade, confirmed that the ministry has intensified its control campaigns on markets and commercial stores in the various governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in conjunction with the hosting of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the Bahrain Grand Prix for Gulf Aviation Formula One 2025.
Al -Ashraf pointed out that these campaigns are part of the Ministry’s continuous efforts to ensure the commitment of all commercial facilities to the laws and regulations in force, and to protect the rights of individuals in the periods in which the markets witness an active movement and a wide turnout from citizens, residents and visitors.
He added: “Through this campaign, we aim to follow up on sales practices, ensure the transparency of offers and discounts, clarity of prices, and take the necessary legal measures against any commercial facility in violation to ensure a fair and safe commercial environment.”
The Assistant Undersecretary for Supervision and Resources continued that the ministry continues to intensify its control before and during the race days, in a way that enhances the quality of the services provided, establishes confidence in the local markets, and reflects an honorable image of the Kingdom of Bahrain in front of its visitors from all over the world.
