This morning at the Public Library of Egypt in the city of Luxor, the first introductory symposium for the rituals of Hajj, for the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God for the year 1446 AH – 2025 AD, was organized in the context of the preparations conducted by the Ministry of Social Solidarity for the Hajj Association season, under the auspices of Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Engineer Abdul Muttalib Amara Governor of Luxor, and in the presence of Mohamed Hussein Baghdadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in the governorate.
A detailed explanation of comprehensive rituals and awareness
The symposium dealt with a full explanation of the Hajj and its ritual, in addition to educating the pilgrims about how to prepare for the trip, starting with the preparation of the bag and medical precautions, to the importance of adhering to the instructions of the supervisors to ensure the performance of the rituals easily and conveniently.
The symposium also witnessed a great interaction from the attendees, as many questions and inquiries answered by officials in detail.
Promote the spirit of the group and acquaintance between pilgrims
Those in charge of the symposium were keen to enhance the atmosphere of familiarity and acquaintance between pilgrims and supervisors, to build bridges of cooperation and understanding within the Luxor Hajj Mission.
Details of residence, housing and transportation during the trip were also discussed, to ensure clarity of vision for pilgrims before traveling.
A later seminar for the Esna Center
For his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Luxor explained that this symposium included all members of the Hajj mission in the governorate, with the exception of the pilgrims of the Esna Center, stressing that a special introductory symposium will be organized for them during the coming days.
Distinguished official and societal presence
The symposium witnessed the presence of Hassan Othman, Undersecretary of the Directorate, Kamel Fouad Mansour, Director of the Associations Department, and Mahmoud Abdel Hamid from the Volunteers Department, along with members of the supervisory mission for this year: Hassan Al -Dawi, Mahmoud Yahya, Omar Raslan and Samah Tantawi.
