Ahmed Kajuk, Minister of Finance, said that the ministry’s work tasks are always evident within the framework of the general interest of citizens.
This came during his speech at the first session of the activities of the second annual conference of competition, entitled twenty years of the development of the competition climate in Egypt: strengthening international policies and partnerships.
The size of local investments
The Minister of Finance added during his speech that the volume of local investments in Egypt increased during the recent period by 80%, which is the highest growth rate in the past years.
The minister also pointed out that the volume of foreign investments in Egypt increased recently by up to 20%, while private investments also increased by 60%.
The Minister of Finance stated that these aforementioned proportions are strong evidence of the solidity of the Egyptian economy, and a production of the efforts of the government agencies that they implement in order to support the free national economy.
