“Labor Market”: 1,141 campaign and inspection visit

The Labor Market Regulatory Authority implemented 1,141 campaigns and an inspection visit, during the period from 13 to 19 April 2025, which resulted in the seizure of 17 violating and irregular workers, while the number of those deposited during the mentioned period reached 116 violators. The campaigns and inspection visits also resulted in the monitoring of a number of violations related to the provisions of a number of regulators, especially the provisions of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority and the Residence Law in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where legal measures were taken regarding the observations observed. The authority explained that 1,130 inspection visits were implemented on various shops in all governorates, in addition to 11 joint inspection campaigns, including 5 campaigns in the Capital Governorate, two campaigns in Muharraq Governorate, and 3 campaigns in the northern governorate, along with one campaign in the southern governorate, noting the participation of the Ministry of Interior represented in nationality, passport and residence affairs, security directorates in the governorates, the Coast Guard Command, the Supreme Council for the Environment, and the Ministry Health, and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture. The authority affirmed the continued joint coordination with government agencies to intensify inspection campaigns in all governorates of the Kingdom, and to address any violations or practices that negatively affect the labor market, stability and competitiveness, or harm the economic and social security in the Kingdom. The Labor Market Regulatory Authority renewed its call to all members of society to support the efforts of government agencies to address illegal practices in the labor market and irregular employment to protect society as a whole, calling on everyone to report any complaints related to the irregularities of the labor market and irregular labor by filling the electronic form designated for reporting on the official website of the authority www.lmra.gov.bh or through the national system for proposals and complaints (Communication), or call the authority’s call center on 17506055.
