The Jordanian Minister of Interior, Mazen Al -Faraya, announced today, Wednesday, to implement the provisions of the law immediately on the so -called dissolved Muslim Brotherhood, as an illegal association.
The Minister affirmed in a journalistic briefing today, as reported by the Kingdom channel, the prohibition of all activities of the so -called dissolved Muslim Brotherhood, and to consider any activity to it, whatever its type is a work that violates the provisions of the law and requires legal accountability.
Jordan prohibits the Brotherhood
He stressed the acceleration of the work of the solution committee in charge of confiscating the property of the so -called dissolved Muslim Brotherhood, whether transported and not transferred in accordance with the relevant judicial rulings.
The Minister affirmed that the affiliation of the so -called dissolved Muslim Brotherhood is prohibited, and it is also prohibited to promote its ideas and whoever violates it under the legal accountability.
Al -Faraya also announced the decision to close any offices or headquarters used by what is called the dissolved Muslim Brotherhood across the Kingdom, even if it is in partnership with any other parties and under the end of legal accountability.
The Minister warned to prevent political forces, the media, various social media users, civil society institutions and any other parties from dealing or publishing the so -called Muslim Brotherhood and all its facades and arms and under the end of legal accountability.
The minister stressed that the necessary measures will be taken against any person or party that proves its involvement in criminal acts related to these dissolved cases or group, in light of the results of the court’s investigations into the cases pending before them.
The minister indicated that the dissolved group tried on the same night to announce the plans last week to smuggle and destroy large quantities of documents from its headquarters to hide its suspicious activities and connections.
The Minister of the Interior also revealed that after the announcement of the issues that were targeting national security last week- the Minister of the Interior had been seized by a process of manufacturing and experimenting with explosives by one of the sons of the dissolved group leaders and others who intended to target the security services and sensitive sites inside the Kingdom.
Al -Faraya pointed out that these decisions, which were taken, came out of the keenness of the sure country for the integrity of our society and its fortification from the actions that disturb the security and order and distort the best political practices and to maintain its security and stability.
The minister pointed out that the Jordanian state, through its honorable history, allowed all its citizens the freedom to form parties and associations, express opinion and practice political activities in accordance with the law. However, it has been proven that elements of the so -called Muslim Brotherhood dissolved a ruling under the definitive judicial decisions work in the dark and carry out activities that destabilize and tamper with security and national unity and violate the security system and the public order.
He considered that what was revealed from explosives and weapons was moving between Jordanian cities and stored inside residential neighborhoods and carrying out manufacturing and hiding missiles in the outskirts of the capital and with training and recruitment at home and abroad, no country can accept it.
The minister stressed that the continuation of the dissolved group with its practices exposes our society to a set of risks and also leads to the threat of the lives of citizens, at a time when the state seeks to maintain security and stability and move forward in the development process in light of the challenges taking place in the region and the world.
At the end of his statement, the minister affirmed the government’s constant keenness to ensure freedom of expression for all citizens within the legal frameworks and the practice of responsible political action, in a way that harmonizes and the law of political parties and other legislation regulating this, without going out on the law or tampering with the security of the country and its stability to violate its capabilities “at a time when we need what we are to join efforts and concert to achieve what the Jordanian people aspire to.”
Al -Faraya had confirmed at the beginning of his speech that our glorious law has taken tolerance as its main title and stressed that moderation is a truly religion and that exaggeration and intolerance are only an entrance to chaos, violence, division of societies and broadcasting the division between the people of one society.
