Gold prices stabilized at the beginning of trading today, Saturday, April 14, 2025, at the closing levels of trading on Friday, after it recorded a significant increase, after the price of a gram of gold is approximately 21 per 4700 pounds for sale and 4675 pounds.
The price of 24 carat gold for sale is 5371 pounds, while the purchase price reached 5324 pounds, while the price of 18 carat gold was approximately 4028 pounds for purchase and 4007 pounds for sale.
The price of 14 carat gold reached approximately 3133 pounds for sale and 3116 pounds for sale, while the price of the gold pound reached 36600 pounds for sale 37400 for purchase.
The rises in gold prices globally came supported by the decline in the performance of the dollar, as a result of the escalation of the trade war between the United States and China, which led to the orientation of investors towards gold as a safe haven, which prompted an ounce to the highest historical level ever at 3238 dollars.
In the context of the escalating commercial crisis, China announced the imposition of 125% customs duties on American goods starting on Saturday, in response to the United States imposing new customs duties on Chinese imports, raising the total fees imposed to 145% when adding previous 20%.
