The first round witnessed the brilliance of the duo Charles Dawson and Kernin Joyce, the driver of the “2seas” team, which performed remarkably in their first appearance, and we were able to achieve a deserved victory in the 42nd team’s car after a strong start from the first row to the finish line, while the two drivers Kevin Ze and Maximilian Gotz managed to finish the race in third place, to confirm the team’s readiness to compete for the title this season.
This achievement came after great efforts made by the team during the pre -season period, as the team was forced to adjust its technical plan after an accident during the experiences that preceded the race days, and despite the challenges, the technical staff managed to prepare the car in record time, which was reflected in the field performance and the team was awarded the “Weekend team” award from the tournament organizers.
In the qualifiers, Charles Dawson presented a record time that gave the team a preliminary forefront, followed by his teammate Kevin Tsi with a strong time as well, and when calculating the time rates of the two stakeholders, the team cars fixed their positions in the first row, to achieve the “Tu Seas” first lock in its history in the championship using the Mercedes-AMG GT3.
With the start of the race, Charles managed to maintain the lead despite his first participation in the GT3 category, while Kevin fought a strong competition for the first places. Charles managed to expand the difference from his closest attachments before the safety car entered the ring after half an hour of starting, to reduce the difference and rearrange the race.
After stopping maintenance and replacing drivers in the middle of the race, Kernomax took over the driving and managed to maintain the arrangement, despite the great pressure of competing cars. Kern showed a high focus and stability in front of attempts to overcome, leading the car towards the finish line, achieving his first victory with the team.
