Dozens of Israelis demonstrated members of the Naqif movement together in the city of Haifa to demand the cessation of the war in the Gaza Strip, and the demonstrators raised banners condemning the starvation war practiced by Israel on the people of the Strip and killing children.
According to Arab media, large forces from the Israeli occupation police closed the place and announced the demonstration that it was an illegal gathering, tore the banners and the arrest of 6 demonstrators.
The occupation police had warned several days ago the members of the movement not to upload the pictures of the dead children in Gaza in its periodic demonstrations.
Several entities in Israel threatened last week by resorting to the strike, rejecting the policy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, heading towards more authoritarianism and violating the laws.
Gaza negotiation developments developments
In another context, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported, quoting informed sources, that Israel has not yet received any new proposal related to the situation in the Gaza Strip.
The commission quoted an Israeli official that the government decided to give negotiations an additional opportunity, before taking a final decision on expanding the military operation in Gaza.
Israeli media also revealed, this evening, the escalation of voices within the Israeli cabinet, as a number of ministers demanded a final date for the start of the expanded stage of the military operation against the Gaza Strip.
