The Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shi’a Al -Sudani, discussed with the commander of the international coalition forces to fight ISIS, General Kevin Leshi, today, Thursday, efforts to combat terrorism and enhance security and stability in Syria. The media office of the Prime Minister, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (conscious), stated that the meeting dealt with the security situation and ISIS moves, as well as discussing strategic relations between Iraq and the United States in light of the current regional challenges. The two sides are the importance of supporting Syria’s stability without interfering in its affairs, while emphasizing the need to achieve security and peace in the region. The meeting also discussed the development of cooperation between Iraq and the coalition countries, with a focus on moving to bilateral security relations focusing on training and exchanging experiences and information with the Iraqi security forces.
