This was stated by Eng. Sherif El -Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, stressing that these efforts are in the context of preserving the cultural appearance of new cities, and providing various services to the residents of new cities.
Housing: Implementing maintenance, development, and raising efficiency of green roads and bodies in several new cities
In this context, Eng. Sherif Abdel Badie, head of the new Sohag City Authority, and officials of the Agriculture Administration of the Authority, visited the main maintenance work of the city, and the work of implementing a transplant project in the 455 acres area, directing to study the work of cultivation and coordination of the road leading to the entrance to the western city, stressing the implementation of the works according to the technical specifications and completing the work as soon as possible.
Dr. Engineer Ahmed Ismail Jabr, head of the new transit device, and the agency officials, made a night inspection tour that included a number of major squares and green spaces, to follow up the progress of work in agriculture and beauty projects in the 2600 acres area and the 14th neighborhood.
The head of the agency continued, afforestation and coordination of green surfaces in several major areas of the city, including the development of vital squares, as well as following up the state of roads that witness traffic densities, and to ensure the quality of cosmetics and afforestation that take place in various parts of the new transit.
During the tour, the head of the agency stressed the need to adhere to the periodic maintenance of the green areas, and to ensure that the latest technologies in irrigation, which requires intensifying efforts to preserve trees and plants, stressing the importance of the participation of the population and civil society in supporting these efforts, by preserving the developed areas and not harming public facilities, to ensure the continuation of development work and achieve the maximum benefit from them.
Engineer Ashraf Fathi Mahmoud, head of the new Damietta City Authority, and the agency officials, inspected the development work and maintenance of the coastal road, confirming the speedy completion of the implementation of the work according to the specifications and commitment to do the standard tests of business items.
The head of the agency also inspected the ongoing development work in the public beach area, which aims to raise the efficiency and expansion of roads, and the development of the walkway, the fence, the parking and parking spaces.
In a related context, the head of the agency inspected the work of the implementation of an electricity network and lighting the new Damietta waiting area, directing the need to remove obstacles with the executing company increasing the pace of work and the number of employment and equipment for the speedy completion of the implementation of the work to serve the current investments in the city.
In the same context, the engineer, Marwa Hussein Amin, head of the Sheikh Zayed City Development Authority, inspected the general situation in the third district, the Al -Bustan Road, and the Central Axis, according to the periodic traffic schedule in the neighborhoods and regions of the city, where she followed the axes and roads as well as parks between buildings and the lights of buildings and the main streets.
The head of the agency followed the general maintenance work in the scope of the round, through the green surfaces and the roads, stressing the intensification of cleaning work, removing agriculture waste, sanitation maintenance, and raising occupations.
During the tour, the engineer, Marwa Hussein, was keen to meet a number of citizens to listen to their complaints and demands, addressed the agency officials to study citizens’ complaints and work to solve them as soon as possible, and continue to pass daily throughout the city and always work to provide the best services to the residents of Sheikh Zayed City.
