The village of Salem Al -Buhairi, affiliated to the Al -Fashn Center in Beni Suef Governorate, witnessed the implementation of a medical convoy, which continued over the course of April 9 and 10, as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Health and Population to provide health care in the most needy villages, and within the framework of the presidential initiative a decent life.
According to the report submitted by Dr. Samah Jad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Beni Suef, the convoy included providing its services through 9 clinics in 8 medical specialties, which are internal, children, surgery, women, leather, family planning, teeth, and ophthalmology.
Medical examination of 1188 citizens
During the convoy, the medical examination was signed on 1188 citizens, and treatment was disbursed for free, in addition to conducting blood tests for 98 cases, parasites for 31 cases, and regular rays for 8 cases, in addition to 64 cases of ultrasound, transferring 3 hospitals to complete treatment, and issuing two decisions for treatment at the expense of the state.
The convoy also included the implementation of awareness activities, through health education seminars that benefited 160 citizens, and dealt with topics such as the prevention of Corona virus, family planning, breast cancer, breastfeeding, and food safety.
Examination of early detection of pressure and diabetes was also conducted for 2550 citizens.
The total number of services provided during the convoy was 3437 medical and awareness services, which were implemented under the supervision of the therapeutic caravans department at the Ministry of Health and the Directorate of Health in Beni Suef, and with the participation of a team that included Dr. Yasser Khairi, Coordinator of the Caravan in the Directorate, Dr. Mohamed Khalaf, Medical Supply Officer, Taha Kamal Hajjaj, Financial and Administrative Officer, Eid Faraj, Information Officer, Ahmed Ajami, Preparation and Preparation Officer Clinics.
