On Saturday evening, American fighters renewed their air strikes targeting the Houthi military strongholds in the governorates of Sanaa, Ma’rib and Amran.
Yemeni sources said that the capital, Sanaa, under the control of the Houthi militia, witnessed a series of air strikes targeting separate locations, as the strikes reached dozens of raids.
The raids focused on about 7 different directorates in Sanaa, which include stores, camps, fortifications, shelters, and security and military facilities belonging to the Houthis, according to the sources.
4 other raids extended to the Houthi military sites in the district of Safyan, north of Amran Governorate.
The sources reported that after the raids, violent explosions occurred in the targeted sites due to the explosion of the mechanisms and ammunition that were stored in them. She also pointed out that the sky of Sana’a witnessed an intense flight of American warplanes before and after the implementation of the strikes.
In Marib, northeast of Yemen, the strikes targeted the Houthi military sites in the Sarwah district, west of the governorate, after similar attacks targeting the Houthi sites in Al -Hodeidah Governorate, northwest of Yemen.
On Friday, the Houthis declared the rise of the American night strikes on an oil port in Hodeidah Governorate in western Yemen to 80, in the bloodiest raids in the intensive air campaign launched by Washington more than a month ago.
The Houthi regions in Yemen have been subjected to almost daily raids carrying the United States, since Washington announced on March 15, the launch of a military operation against the militia to stop its attacks on ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
