Dr. Sameh Al -Ashmawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Fayoum Governorate, said that the Directorate launched an enlarged campaign on markets, shops and restaurants that lasted from the days of Eid Al -Fitr holiday until this week, and the number of facilities followed by 81 facilities.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Population added in press statements that the campaign withdrew 87 samples and 67 kilograms of foods are not suitable for human consumption and 59 liters of drinks that are not identical to the specifications
Meanwhile, Mukhtar Hussein, Chief Food Writers at the Health Directorate in Fayoum Governorate, said that 84 misdemeanors were edited due to the lack of health requirements, and 6 facilities operating without a license were being closed.
He pointed out that all food monitors in the Directorate and health departments have participated in the campaign, with the aim of maintaining the health and safety of citizens and avoiding health problems caused by eating foods that are not in conformity with specifications.
