The Parliamentary Division of the Kingdom of Bahrain, represented by Representative Hassan Ibrahim Hassan, and Hala Ramzi Fayez, a member of the Shura Council, participated in the meeting of the Standing Committee for Sustainable Development, which was held today (Sunday), within the work of the 150th General Assembly of the International Parliamentary Union, which is held in the city of Tashkent in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, in which Hala Ramzi was chosen as a major decision, the proposed amendments to the draft provisions were discussed on parliamentary strategies to mitigate the long -term impact of conflicts on sustainable development.
Parliamentary representatives discussed part of the amendments, which number up to 240 amendments to the draft resolution, where they made a comprehensive review of the amendments, and re -ored a number of items, provided that the rest of the amendments will continue to discuss another meeting of the committee, in preparation for raising the project and discussing it in the 150th session of the International Parliamentary Union.
