The Gulf for aluminum rolling (Garmco) announced that 21 Bahraini joined its ranks after completing the success of the training within the “Opportunities” program implemented by the Ministry of Labor in cooperation with the Labor Fund (Tamkeen), in the context of supporting national employment and preparing young competencies to enter the labor market.
Participants in the program underwent a series of training courses, in addition to direct practical training at the job, which contributed to enhancing their professional readiness and enabling them to integrate into the work environment.
This step comes within the “Garmco” strategy in supporting the policy of job replacement and enhancing local employment, as during the years 2024 and 2025 he trained 37 Bahraini youths within the “Opportunities” program, and was able to attract and employ 12 trainees from among them after fulfilling the program’s requirements, in coordination with the relevant authorities, and in line with its strategic plan for the function of jobs and the development of national competencies.
In a statement to him on this occasion, Fahd Al -Bassam, Executive Director of Administrative Affairs in Garmco, said: “We are proud of our Bahraini youth who have proven high efficiency during the training period. Attracting and developing national cadres is an inherent part of our vision, and we are constantly creating sustainable job opportunities that contribute to supporting the national economy and providing the industrial sector with promising competencies.”
