“With the celebration of International Book Day April 23,” I remembered when I was in the elementary stage and the paintings that were taking me because of the reading and writing activity, meaning “the duty to copy” as we called it, those dull tasks from a child’s point of view, without realizing at that time that these two simple activities were the basis that paved a way full of opportunities, development, intellectual and self -awareness.
This is what our children who find themselves can lose sight of behind electronic screens that have taken a lot of innocence of their knowledge.
Today, through the pioneering programs launched by modern knowledge schools, he fully realized the value of reading the habit of reading in the hearts of students from a young age. Incentive programs and competitions for volunteer reading, and the rehabilitation courses specialized in reading can raise the level of students, and contribute to building a reader, conscious, and ambition … because reading is the “basis”.
It is important to always remember that the student’s success does not happen by chance, but rather the result of concerted efforts from all parties. It should not only be seen as an individual responsibility, but as a priority that we must share all of them, the school provides programs, parents support follow -up, the teacher knows, guides and directs, and the student has to persevere and believe that he is “he” who benefits from his success, his progress and his insistence on true and fake excellence.
In an era in which the books disappeared behind the screens, we reaffirm today: There is no renaissance without reading, and no development without writing. The start may seem normal, but it was -and still -the greatest investment.
We must notice that reading is not exclusive to books, but rather a life, which we practice with every word that passes through us, for every text, every idea, and every letter, may be the beginning of a new opportunity and a different path. ”
