Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi and French President Emmanuel Macron stressed, on Tuesday, their rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
This came during Al -Sisi and Macron’s visit, the city of Al -Arish, and inspected the Palestinian wounded at Al -Madinah Hospital.
A spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic in Egypt, Mohamed El -Shennawi, stated that this visit comes “to confirm France’s solidarity with the great Egyptian efforts to receive and care for the injured from the Palestinian people as a result of the brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.”
The spokesperson added that during the visit, the two presidents stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire, and the importance of working to expedite the enforcement of humanitarian aid and ensure the protection of civilians and relief workers, stressing their categorical rejection of any attempts aimed at displacing the Palestinians from their land.
And that the visit “included the visit inspected the two Presidents Sisi and Macron, Al -Arish Hospital and their meeting with a number of Palestinian wounded, especially women and children, as well as the Logistics Services Center of the Egyptian Red Crescent dedicated to the collection of humanitarian aid provided by Egypt and all countries directed to the Gaza Strip.”
The spokesperson stressed that “the president stressed Egypt’s firm position, leadership and people, in supporting the Palestinian brothers, noting that Egypt is making extensive efforts and intense diplomatic endeavors with the aim of reaching an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and working to introduce the necessary humanitarian aid to the people of the Strip, in order to preserve the lives of innocent people and protect the brotherly Palestinian people from the repercussions of aggression.”
The spokesman pointed out that Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, reviewed in front of Sisi and the French President during their visit to Al -Arish General Hospital, the efforts made by the Egyptian state to provide health care and the necessary treatment for the Palestinian injured from the Gaza Strip.
