EgyptAir announced the cancellation of its two flights from Cairo to Athens (MS747 and MS749) and its flights coming from Athens to Cairo (MS748 and MS750) tomorrow, Wednesday, April 9, due to the strike in the Greek capital airport.
Cancel 4 flights to Egypt Air to and from Athens and set new dates for travelers
EgyptAir, in a statement, that measures have been taken to accommodate the passengers of canceled flights, as two alternative trips will be operated, flight No. MS1749 will leave from Cairo to Athens at 23:00 pm on Wednesday, April 9, while flight No. MS1750 will leave from Athens to Cairo at 03:00 pm Thursday, April 10.
Egypt avoided all its clients traveling on the canceled flights that their tickets should be reviewed by communicating with the company’s telecommunications service center on the following numbers:

Earlier, Cairo International Airport achieved a new and unprecedented record by registering it to the highest operating rate of 102.108 thousand passengers in one day, and it is the first time since it opened on May 18, 1963.
This comes in a historical achievement that reflects the interest of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and its keenness to continue the development and modernization projects to keep pace with the continuous progress in the field of the air transport industry.
The total number of flights reached 682 flights, including 343 travel flights and 339 arrival flights, which confirms the airport’s ability to meet the increasing demand for travel movement, and indicates the high efficiency that Cairo International Airport has and its readiness to accommodate the largest number of tourists and travelers as it is the first Egypt gate and a major air transport center in the region.
