The Medical Syndicate announced that Dr. Joudeh Awad stopped practicing the profession for a year, as the Syndicate Disciplinary Authority decided to sign the suspension penalty, while notifying the competent authorities to implement the decision.

The union said in an official statement, today: Awad did not adhere to the right behavior, as well as his violation of his dignity and the dignity of the profession in a way that offends it, contrary to what was stated in the Department of Doctors and the List of Etiquette of the Profession, along with his confusion explicitly by using new methods of diagnosis and treatment that was not completed in the scientific and moral methods, and was not published in approved scientific journals, or proof of its effectiveness Obtaining a license from the competent health authorities.
She added that the violations included allowing his name to be used in promoting medicines, drugs and various treatment means on social media, in violation of the provisions of Law No. 151 of 2019 regarding the establishment of the Egyptian Authority for Unified purchase, supply, medical supplies, medical technology management and the Egyptian Medicine Authority, as well as Law No. 206 of 2017 regarding the regulation of the announcement of health products and services.
In his first comment on the decision, Dr. Joudeh Awad announced that next Saturday, he will submit a challenge to the decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the General Union of Doctors, to stop him from practicing the profession for a year, against the backdrop of complaints filed against him to the union, in exclusive statements to Cairo 24.
Gouda Awad explained that he has not yet received any official notification from the disciplinary committee of the results of the investigations that were conducted with him last Thursday, noting that he learned of the decision through the media like other citizens.
Dr. Tariq Mansour, a member of the Syndicate Council and the decision of the Legal Committee, said: The union deals firmly with any violations committed by the doctors, if it is proven, explaining that any doctor who deviates from the rules and etiquette of the profession and approved medical principles, and is referred to the investigation committee and the disciplinary body to determine the appropriate penalty, which may reach the deletion of the union’s schedule, and the consequent final prevention of practicing the profession.
Dr. Khaled Amin Zaraa, Assistant Secretary -General of the Medical Syndicate, and the prosecutor in front of the Disciplinary Authority, pointed out that the investigation committee prepared a comprehensive study of the complaint documents submitted against the doctor, Jouda Awad, and followed carefully what he published through the media, and confirmed that he violated the regulations Health damage, because he published medical advice and described unrecognized treatments, as well as speaking in medical specialties that are not in his field, is a deliberate damage to the health of citizens and requires disciplinary accountability.
