The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment affirmed its keenness to achieve the sustainability of natural systems, through the continued prevention of shark fishing, which includes rai fish “Al -Lakhl”, during the season of their reproduction from March 1 to June 30 of each year, according to Ministerial Resolution No. (43) of 2019, regarding the regulation of fishing and trade of sharks. The ministry added that the role of community individuals and bodies in preserving sharks includes adherence to laws and legislation, and not to harm natural habitats by polluting the marine environment, avoiding hunting sharks, as well as informing the local authority at any violation, educating the self on the importance of sharks in the marine environment, avoiding purchase or buying any of
