From this standpoint, the organization of the Innovation Conference in the Social Housing Sector, and the accompanying exhibition, which was organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Housing Bank, at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center during the period from 23 to 25 April, under the slogan “Towards innovative and sustainable housing solutions”, under the auspices of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him.

In this regard, it is necessary to stop at two important statements, the first, for His Excellency Dr. Shebra Narrang Syria, the first political advisor in the office of the Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Program, on the sidelines of her participation in the conference, where she praised the initiative of the Kingdom of Bahrain represented by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to hold the Innovation Conference in the Social Housing Sector, which contributes to the exchange of ideas and visions in this important field, praising Bahrain’s leading experience in providing appropriate housing for citizens and innovative trends to provide this main and important service to citizens.

The second statement came by the head of the Qatari program and the representative of the Gulf Cooperation Council for the United Nations Human Settlements, Dr. Ayman Al -Hefnawi, who pointed to the strategy of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, which always confirms the continued introduction of new housing programs that give citizens a hope for the future, as the new housing programs of the Ministry contribute to developing the housing base. A great demand from citizens, especially as they were keen to benefit from the new housing financing that the Ministry put forward, as the ministry announced that the number of visitors reached more than 16 thousand visitors.

The other thing that is taken into account is constructive cooperation between the governmental and private sectors, which was evident through the extensive participation of a number of government agencies, in addition to partners in the private sector from real estate companies, where these companies were keen to offer many real estate projects that provided more than 15 thousand properties, between unit, voucher and apartment at special prices commensurate with the value of housing financing provided by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to citizens, And the participation of more than 16 real estate companies, and the participation of 5 commercial banks, as it provided “Tasheel” financing, “Tasheel +”, and “advantages” of the created category.

Here, it must be pointed out the great efforts made by the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al -Rumaihi, in order to implement the royal directives, especially with the presence of distinguished national cadres in the ministry, where 4 new housing programs were launched, the “Tamouha” program, the “Sale on the Map” program for beneficiaries of the projects of “Rights to Development of Government Land”, the “Private Land Development Rights” program, and the second version of the platform Betty real estate with additional features and features.

It was noticeable that the exhibition witnessed the reservation of the units of the “Valley” project in the Al -Buhair region, where the project consists of 76 housing units, to be implemented in partnership with the company “Al -Saraya”, where the project was presented on the “Betty” real estate platform as the first project to be presented within the “sale on the map” program announced by the ministry during the opening session of the conference and the exhibition, in addition to the depletion of the reservation of the units of the “Al -Naseem neighborhood” project In Salman City, Northern Governorate, which is implemented within the projects listed in the government land development rights program, in partnership with the Dilmoun Real Estate Gate Company, where the project consists of 131 housing units in Salman city with a total area of 23 thousand square meters, and the areas of housing units range between 171 and 190 square meters, while the building area per housing unit is 265 square meters.

This civilized housing renaissance witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain confirms the great interest that the wise leadership attaches to citizens in order to provide a decent life for them, which is reflected positively on various aspects of life, and here it is necessary to mention the policies and practices that the state pursues in enhancing equal opportunities for women in the housing sector, especially since officials always emphasize that providing housing services is truly guaranteed to all citizens In Bahrain.
