Bobchit: Bahrain pays attention to regional integration and economic cooperation in accordance with the king’s directives to build strategic partnerships that enhance common interests

This came during a speech delivered by His Excellency Mrs. Issa Issa Boubeshet, a member of the Shura Council, in the first session of the South -South Parliamentary Dialogue Forum, which is held in the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco, “Rabat”, organized by the Moroccan House

Bobchit explained that the Kingdom of Bahrain has sought through its open economic policies on regional and international markets, to consolidate its position as an advanced financial and commercial center in the region, as well as its adoption of a sustainable economic approach that integrates the pillars of strengthening economic and social development, stressing that the Shura Council played a pivotal role in devoting this path to work hard to enact the enactment of advanced economic legislation Keep global variables, and contribute to creating an attractive investment environment.

Boubchit noted that the Shura Council agreed to a number of bilateral, regional and international agreements, especially those related to removing double taxation and protecting and encouraging investment, which contributed to consolidating confidence with the economic partners of the Kingdom, and strengthened the flow of trade exchange and the flow of capital with the countries of the south and all parties in the international system in a more comprehensive approach.

Bubchit said that regional and international parliamentary dialogues and events are one of the most prominent tools to deepen understanding and rapprochement, and to form a common ground for economic legislation between friendly countries, pointing out that the South -South Parliamentary Dialogue Forum is one of the effective and fruitful parliamentary cooperation frameworks in various fields.

Bobchit stated that the Kingdom of Bahrain has worked to launch many technical cooperation projects and capacity building in a number of friendly countries, based on its conviction of the importance of exchanging experiences and integrating experiences to support development paths in developing and less developed countries, indicating that the Kingdom is keen to encourage the private sector to invest in external investment, in a way that contributes to establishing production and development projects that enhance sustainable growth and benefit the mutual benefit to our economies.

Boubchit said, during her speech, that deepening the frameworks of cooperation between the countries of the south is no longer a traditional development option, but rather has become a strategic necessity imposed by the rapid economic and development challenges at the regional and international levels.

Bubchit proposed the establishment of a permanent parliamentary coordination mechanism between the countries of the south, which is concerned with following up the implementation of joint economic programs, and the coordination of the study of legislative positions and data, in a way that contributes to overcoming obstacles to economic integration, and enhances the effectiveness of the national development policies of our friendly countries, stressing the importance of supporting the establishment of such parliamentary platforms as support tools for regional and international understanding, and stimulating to build partnerships Realism translates the aspirations of our countries and our peoples towards development and prosperity.
