Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 14, 2025: Mohammed bin Selim, President of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), welcomed the Join of the government of Georgia to the growing “united electronic abuse” coalition.
The Georgian Minister of Sports, Mr. Shalfa Gougoladzi, officially signed a charter “United against Electronic abuse (UAO) during his meeting with Mohammed bin Selim, who was held during the weekend in conjunction with the Bahrain Grand Prix of Gulf Air Award for Formula 1.
Georgia joined a unified and influential alliance of governments, sports bodies and technology platforms, committed to combating electronic harassment and hate speech in the world of sports.
This tenth national government, which joins the coalition, has become committed to working in a close partnership with the UAOA campaign to meet the escalating hate over the Internet and its devastating effect on mental health, and participating in achieving the integrity of sports.
Bin Selim and Mr. Gogoladzi discussed during their meeting the minister’s commitment to protecting athletes and sports, in addition to his campaign “Start to Speak” to report harassment and abuse.
Within the framework of the UAAA Federation (UAAA) to formulate effective policies and strategies to address online abuse, the campaign is looking forward to cooperation with Georgia, exchange of best practices, and enhancing cooperation by exchanging evidence in the activities and conferences of the Union of Mobility Organizations (UAOA).

The “United against Electronic Abuse” campaign of the International Motor Federation (FIA) is a research alliance supported by the International Motor Foundation.
