US President Donald Trump announced a draft comprehensive customs duties on America’s commercial partners, that the American administration reached 46% on Vietnam and 34% on China, while the minimum customs duties would be 10%. Egypt was among the countries on which Trump imposed 10%customs duties.

At a time when the US President’s decision sparked controversy over his decision on 10% on Egypt, Egypt was a precedent in imposing fees on American goods estimated at 10%, before Trump’s decision.
President Donald Trump said in a conference that the trade deficit amounted to $ 1.2 trillion last year during the era of Joe Biden and this is unprecedented, and we can act smart to restore our wealth.
He added: Mexico gets 300 billion dollars annually from customs duties, and Canada gets 200 billion dollars annually from customs duties, and the trade deficit has become a national emergency.
He continued: We will impose mutual customs fees in half that other countries impose on us, and we will impose customs duties of 34 % on imports from China.
He said: We will impose 25% customs duties on foreign cars, adding that jobs and factories will return to the United States.
