Bahrain exports conclude its participation in the Hong Kong Jewelery Show with the support of 9 Bahraini companies

Bahrain’s exports concluded with the success of its second consecutive participation at the Hong Kong International Jewelery Fair 2025, confirming its commitment to expanding the global opportunities for existing institutions in Bahrain in the jewelry and precious metal sector. This participation came after a successful participation last year, as Bahrain’s exports reinforced the presence of Bahraini institutions in the Hong Kong Market through its cooperation with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

Bahrain’s exports were able to facilitate the participation of nine Bahraini companies this year, which represents an increase of 50% compared to last year, in each of the eleventh edition of the Hong Kong International Exhibition for Diamonds, December Stones and Pearls, and the forty -first version of the Hong Kong International Jewelery Exhibition. This allowed the participants valuable opportunities to explore new markets and expand their business network.

Bahrain’s exports also organized more than 180 meetings for Bahraini companies participating in the exhibition, with an average of 30 meetings per day with buyers from Hong Kong, China, India, Thailand, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, UK, and Italy. During these meetings, Bahraini companies reviewed their business models and their added value to their international customers.

The participating companies have achieved many promising opportunities and positive results that support their expansionary career. The participation resulted in the signing of more than 15 cooperation agreements and a memorandum of understanding, in addition to 14 potential agreements with manufacturers and providers of gemstones and basic initial materials, with the aim of enhancing innovation and business development in the sector. Participation also contributed to opening new horizons for joint cooperation and exchanging experiences, in addition to seeing the latest technologies, design trends and expansion strategies in global markets.

Mr. Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Trade and Chairman of Bahrain Exports Board of Directors, stressed that this participation reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing economic growth by supporting the expansion of existing institutions in Bahrain on the international scene. He explained that the jewelry and precious mineral sector represents an essential pillar of national exports, noting that strengthening the presence of Bahraini companies in global markets opens new prospects for growth and provides strategic opportunities to establish sustainable commercial partnerships. He also stressed the pivotal role that Bahrain’s exports in promoting and empowering existing institutions in Bahrain in expanding globally by providing the necessary support, including facilitating access to international markets and enhancing the competitiveness of national products, which contributes to achieving more global economic integration.

Mrs. Safaa Sharif Abdel -Khalek, CEO of Bahrain Export Export, stressed the importance of international exhibitions in highlighting national products, adding: “This successful participation reflects the commitment of Bahrain’s exports to enable the existing institutions in Bahrain by providing the tools and platforms necessary to enhance their competitiveness at the international level. The deals and partnerships that were concluded during this participation will contribute to supporting the growth of exports in the long term and enhancing the position of Bahrain as a pioneering center For precious jewelry and minerals. “

The participating Bahraini companies expressed their great benefit from this opportunity, as Mr. Masoud Jassim, Director of Public Relations of the Bahrain Jewelery Company, confirmed that participation in the exhibition provided a strategic platform to enhance the international presence of the brand and direct communication with global buyers. He added: “We are in the process of concluding a number of promising partnerships that will contribute to expanding our business outside the region, which confirms the importance of this participation in supporting our future growth and consolidating our position in international markets.”
