The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed strong condemnation and condemnation of the armed attacks that targeted the Zamzam and Aboshuk camps for the displaced around the city of El Fasher, the capital of the state of North Darfur, west of the sisterly Republic of Sudan, and caused the killing and injury of many people, including children, women and relief workers, as a flagrant violation of the principles of international humanitarian law.
The Ministry affirmed the constant position of the Kingdom of Bahrain and calling for protection to civilians and relief workers, facilitating the introduction of humanitarian aid, and supporting the efforts to bring peace and stability in the Republic of Sudan, according to the reference of the “Jeddah Declaration” and the decision of the Security Council and the relevant international covenants, expressing its sincere condolences and sympathy to the brotherly Sudanese people and the families of the victims, and its wishes for a speedy recovery for all the injured.
