Lawyer Walid Al -Fouly, the defense of the injured lions coach in the Tanta Circus accident, revealed new details condemning the Lions coach, Anousa Kuta, accusing her of directly causing the attack that led to amputation of his client’s arm.
The victim’s lawyer reveals new details
In exclusive statements to Cairo 24, Al -Fuli explained that he obtained videos showing Anousa Kuta, hitting the white tiger with Karbaj while performing his client for his tasks in linking Assad, which prompted the tiger to attack his client suddenly.
He added: Anousa Kouta struck the white tiger, and he rushed to my client who was linking the lion, which led to his severe injury.
The lawyer pointed out that Anousa Kouta bears full responsibility for the accident, especially with reports that animals were left hungry before the shows, which increases their risk.
He continued: The tiger attacked my client because it was hungry, as the animals were starving before the shows.
Al -Fuli also criticized the lack of safety procedures inside the circus, pointing to the absence of ambulance and firefighting teams, and the lack of tools for the disintegration of animal movement in emergency situations.
He stressed that Anousa Kuta’s statements that she was at risk more than his client condemns her, saying: If the trainer herself is unable to protect herself, how will she protect her assistants?
Cairo 24 continues with Anousa Kuta, who denied these accusations, stressing that the accident was the result of a technical error and that it did not expect what happened, noting that the assistant brought his hand inside the cage during the show, which led to the tiger’s attack on him.
She added in exclusive statements to Cairo 24 that the tiger will be removed from the offers and subject to training and tame in Cairo during the coming period.
It is noteworthy that the injured assistant coach, Mohamed El Bastawisi, had previously stated that the tigers were sometimes hungry, which could be a cause of their aggressive behavior.
