The authorities of the US State of Pennsylvania said at a press conference at the headquarters of the governor of the governor, Josh Shapiro, on Sunday that a 38 -year -old man will face charges of attempting to kill and ignite a deliberate fire after setting fire to the ruler’s headquarters during the night.
State police officials said the suspect, Kody Palmer, from Harrisburg, added that his motives were still unknown.
They said that he infiltrated through the fence of an ocean at the headquarters carrying a homemade incendiary packaging, and the policemen doded for a long time to enter the house, set fire to it, then leave.
He was arrested just before the press conference on Sunday.
The state police knocked on the doors of Shapiru bedrooms and his family around two in the morning to evacuate them, while local firefighters were burning the fire.
No one was hurt, although the effects of combustion on parts of the building can be seen.
Shapiro, a democratic, a potential candidate in the party’s presidential elections for the year 2028, said at a press conference that the Federal Bureau of Investigation Cache Batel spoke with him hours ago and pledged to “employ all the resources of the federal government” to investigate the attack.
The headquarters were burned hours after Shapiro published a picture of the “Cedar” meal, a meal that the Jews consume on Easter, and his family ate it while celebrating the first night of the Jewish Eid.
Shapiro said on Sunday: “I refuse to fall into the trap of the restrictions that one of them is trying to impose on our attack as he did here last night,” and pledged to continue his work in Pennsylvania without fear.
When asked whether the attack might be a crime out of hatred, Shapiro said it would rely on the results that the federal authorities and the representative of the public prosecutor in Pennsylvania will reach.
