The US government announced, on Wednesday, that it will examine the pages of migrants and visas on social media to monitor what it described as anti -Semitic activity.
Russia reported today that the decision raised rapid reactions by civil rights defenders and freedom of expression, including people belonging to the Jewish community, as they warned of consequences that affect personal freedoms and put individuals under continuous oversight.

The move comes in the wake of the President of the President of Donald Trump’s tightening of its procedures against the demonstrations supporting Palestine who reject the war in Gaza.
Reuters said that the American Immigration and Nationality Services Authority of the Ministry of Internal Security, said in a statement that from Wednesday, the authority will consider the activity of anti -Semitic foreigners on social media platforms and any physical harassment of Jewish individuals, as reasons for rejecting immigration requests.
The authority added that this policy will immediately affect the applications of permanent residence, as well as foreign students and affiliated with educational institutions whose activities are related to what the administration describes as anti -Semitism.
She referred to the United States that will not give any space to the rest of the sympathizers of terrorism in the world, stressing that the voices supporting the Palestinians are considered to be of anti -Semitic tendencies and supportive of terrorist classified groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis.
