Alaa Madara, President of the Bahrain Basketball Federation, raised the highest verses of congratulations and blessings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect and preserve him, on the occasion of the impressive success achieved by the Kingdom of Bahrain in hosting the Grand Bahrain Award for Gulf Air Award for Formula 1 for the year 2025.
He also congratulated the wise leadership on the occasion of the victory of the driver of the McLaren team, Oscar Baysri, in the race, which is a first victory in the Bahrain International Circuit for the team controlled by the Kingdom, which embodies the vision of His Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister in supporting sports investment at the highest levels, and the success of the strategic partnership through which Bahrain chose to be part of the future of Formula 1, not only as a host country, but as an active and influential investor in the scene International athlete.

The President of the Bahrain Basketball Federation said that the success of Bahrain came thanks to exceptional efforts in providing a distinctive version of the Formula 1 race that dazzled the world, not only in terms of organization, but even through the enthusiastic and mass atmosphere and societal interaction, which reflected an honorable civilized image of the Kingdom.
Madara pointed out that hosting this huge event every year enhances Bahrain’s reputation and places it in the ranks of the leading countries in the sports field, as it contributes to stimulating the various national sports federations to follow the same approach to achieving success and raising the name of Bahrain high in international forums.
He noted the great role of the Formula 1 race in stimulating the tourism movement in the Kingdom, praising the unlimited interest that the esteemed government is playing in supporting all the concerned parties in the success of this global event.
