Al -Mubarak: The completion of the “comprehensive municipal” in 2026 in preparation for the transfer of “Amanat Al -Asimah” to him

The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, Wael Al -Mubarak, said that the ministry is working to maintain the “comprehensive municipal center” with the aim of moving the capital’s secretariat to it, at a time when the maintenance work is expected to be completed at the beginning of 2026, before it reveals the existence of a consultative idea to establish a central market near the Ramli area, according to what was reported by the head of the Capital Secretariat, Saleh Taradah.

This came during the reception of the Capital Secretariat Council at its headquarters in Al -Zang, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, Wael Al -Mubarak, accompanied by the Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, where they were received by the President of the Council, Saleh Taradah, the Vice -President of the Council, Dr. Kholoud Al -Qattan, and members of the Council, to congratulate the blessed Eid Al -Fitr.

During the meeting, congratulations were exchanged on this blessed occasion, and a number of strategic topics of common concern were discussed in the context of enhancing cooperation between the ministry and the council in a way that contributes to achieving sustainable development and developing municipal services.

The head of the Capital Secretariat, Saleh Taradah, stated that the visit came within the framework of congratulations on the feast and the quick chat, where Minister Wael Al -Mubarak explained that the ministry is working to maintain the “comprehensive municipal center” with the aim of moving the capital’s secretariat to it, indicating that the expected time to finish maintenance will be at the beginning of the year 2026.

The minister revealed that there is a consultative idea to establish a central market near the Ramli area, explaining that the project is still in the process of the idea, as the ministry is currently studying it, and a decision has not been taken on it yet.

For his part, the Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, indicated that the project to develop the waterfront in the King Faisal Corniche will be one of the important vital projects that will serve the capital and the Kingdom of Bahrain in general, as it will contribute to promoting tourism and attracting more visitors.

The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture praised the active role of the Capital Secretariat in serving citizens and enhancing community partnership, stressing the Ministry’s keenness to support efforts to improve the quality of life in the capital.

In turn, Eng. Saleh Taradah expressed his thanks and appreciation to Minister Wael Al -Mubarak, and to the agent Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa for this generous visit, stressing the importance of continuing coordination and joint cooperation to achieve the desired goals in developing municipal work and upgrading the services provided to citizens and residents.
