The Minister of Works Ibrahim Al -Hawaj revealed that the ministry is implementing a project to develop street 77 between 47 Street and the 4566 road, explaining that the project works include infrastructure and rainwater drainage network.
In his response to the request of the municipal council for the southern region to develop the rainwater drainage network in Houra Sanad in the two complexes 643 and 646 in the fourth district, that the topic was studied and visited the site.
Al -Hawaj pointed out that the inclusion of priority roads will be studied within the list of future rainwater drainage projects, in proportion to the status of the region, noting that the ministry will implement plans in accordance with the priorities and the available budget.
For his part, the proposal of the proposal, representative of the fourth municipal district, Mohamed Darraj, pointed out that the proposal aims to reduce the damage of rainwater pools in the streets and alignment of houses, especially during the rainy season.
He pointed out that the development of the rainwater drainage network will contribute to increasing its absorptive capacity, and thus the ease of rain water drainage and reduce the volume of water pools.
