Al Ain/WAM The Al Ain Farms in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi represents a cornerstone of the agricultural sector sustainability system in both its vegetative and animal sectors, and the enhancement of food security in the UAE, given the diversity of the crops it produces, and is distinguished by the use of modern agricultural methods and technology. The number of farms in the Al Ain region at the end of 2023 was approximately 12 thousand and 357 farms, including 26 organic farms and 21 water farms, while the number of farms obtained by the international certificate reached 827 farms, according to the “Agriculture and Food Security Data platform” of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority.
